    Medical studies in Caribbean

Currently applications to place ratios are running at 2:1 for medical and veterinary school entry, which means that there are at least 50% of students each year who are not accepted onto their course of choice at any of their chosen universities.

St. George’s University, Grenada is fast becoming the University of Choice for students faced with this dilemma; with places available for highly qualified and motivated students on both medical and veterinary programmes at our state of the art campus in the Caribbean, and with the chance to receive clinical training at an affiliated hospital or veterinary school in the UK or Ireland.

Our degree programmes are fully-accredited and recognised and every bit as academically rigorous as the home alternatives, and offer a greater diversity of experience and options, a better international perspective, a broader range of contacts, more scope and opportunity in the long term – plus a better chance of being accepted.

We have two intakes per year, in January and September so are able to offer places for any qualifying students who may not have been successful in their application for a place at medical or veterinary schools as well as those applying for a place to start after taking their A Levels.

We’re holding information sessions on Monday 24th April in Dublin and we’d like to offer you the chance to find out more about the excellent opportunities on offer at St. George’s University, Grenada.
